Barry Manilow (right) attended the opening reception for Homes Run, a luxury home rental company and professional concierge service in Palm Springs.

Luxury concierge service Homes Run celebrated its new expansion Thursday evening.
The company, serving the valley since 2001, is branching out and includes luxury rental company Beau Monde Villas, home sales and fractional home ownership.

To accommodate the added business, on May 1, officials will move into a larger office 515 N. Palm Canyon Drive.

On Thursday, about 250 clients and supporters, including singer Barry Manilow, enjoyed the cocktail party to celebrate the company's new venture.

Homes Run president Kevin Blessing said of the expansion.

"There's nothing we can't do when it comes to real estate."

Homes Run will also be the concierge service to Port Lawrence, the mixed-use development at Alejo Road and Palm Canyon Drive that will include shops and condos.

Being involved in such diverse aspects of the real estate market has helped the company weather the housing market downturn, Blessing said.

Manilow said the ability to use a company that rents large homes with concierge benefits is "so much better than staying in a hotel."

"It's the same services that you'd get in a five-star hotel," he added.
