Okay, yes I am still on my MJ kick. I have been watching all the old videos and performances. On stage, he was mesmerizing. I would agree with everyone else that off stage, his life was a mess - total mess but no one can say he was not a talented artist.
This song pretty much sums up his feelings and asks people to not judge him, and who are we to judge him? Could you have worked hard at entertaining people from the time you were six years old until you were fifty? Could you have everyone viewing you as a commodity?
Seen his childhood? Yes, we saw it - on the Ed Sullivan Show, Sonny & Cher, Flip Wilson Show, Mike Douglas, etc. He was going to rehearsal when others his age were going to the playground.

Michael's life was never his own. He was "managed" from the beginning. It's sad how all the people around him couldn't seem to reach him and he was so unhappy that the only rest he got was with an anesthetic. But what's even sadder is the barrage of people in his life that gave him whatever he wanted because he was their money train.
What really pisses me off is all of the people coming out of the woodwork now ... oh I saw all of the medicine bottles, or I saw this or I saw that. Why the hell didn't you say something? You're concerned now? If you said something when you saw it, maybe things would be a little different. They all want their few minutes of fame. His father and flaky sister Latoya included.
