Nobel Prize

On November 27, 1895, Alfred Nobel signed his last will in Paris. When it was opened and read after his death, the will caused a lot of controversy both in Sweden and internationally, as Nobel had left much of his wealth for the establishment of a prize! His family opposed the establishment of the Nobel Prize, and the prize awarders he named refused to do what he had requested in his will. It was five years before the first Nobel Prize could be awarded in 1901.

I wish I could nominate the folks at Stiletto for a Nobel Prize, I sure would. Why? They deserve something for the craziness they have to put up with. Wouldn't you like to be a fly on the wall sometimes? God knows I would. It isn't enough they have to deal with the craziness on the phone when the fans call to order tickets and try to work in questions about Barry into the conversation. Good try - do you really think they'd fall for it?

The person who has to read the posts on the Network must sit down with a bottle of wine, not a glass - a bottle. It's like high school revisited. You have the bullies, the outcasts, and the wannabes.

Vicki, Kirsten, Chris and the rest of the group definitely deserve some sort of award because whenever you call, they are always so wonderful but their jobs have to be difficult, stressful and thankless (at least from SOME of the fans).

So, if no one else tells you - I THANK YOU FOR ALL THE WORK THAT YOU GUYS DO! And know there are plenty others that thank you too.

Do these people honestly think that the Stiletto staff have time to talk to them? This has always amazed me. They call and complain about other fans, try to fish out info on Barry, etc.....I'm thinking...Get a Life!

Oh then you have the ones that think they know Barry personally because they read an article. Okay, you know the Barry he WANTS you to know. Get real .... get some friends in the real world and just enjoy the music you'll never know the man except through the music. *SMH* Then there are the ones that quote Sweet Life like it is the Bible....ooooo, don't get me started.

Forget the wine, if I worked there it would be time for serious drugs!!!! For the life of me I don't know how they do it. I just hope that Barry and Garry treat them very well.
